1.72 Billion Abortions Worldwide Since 1970’s

Has modern man learned anything? We tend to think that we are making progress and that things are getting better. Certainly there are millions of people devoting themselves to what they believe are worthwhile causes and efforts. On the surface, our great technology fools us into thinking we are much smarter and sophisticated but are we really?

We say we will never forget or tolerate another Auschwitz or—for that matter—another holocaust. Yet we deny and obscure the far greater horror and tragedy of purposefully killing our most vulnerable and weakest neighbours, the Unborn.

Read the numbers and weep.

But God will not be mocked. Soon we will reap the harvest of His wrath. A conflagration of similarly immense proportions is inevitable because God is just and payment must be made.

After reading the article, I asked Dr. Brian Clowes, director of education and research at Human Life International, to investigate the number of worldwide abortions since 1973. The results were staggering! He estimates that there have been more than 1.72 billion abortions over the last 40 years, a trend that is not lessening but growing exponentially as more and more countries embrace and legalize contraception and abortion as methods of population control, which is always sold as “family planning” and “reproductive health.”
