Fr. Paul Nicholson: God did not make our Blessed Lady a robot and doesn't make us robots either. She had to choose to follow our Lord like any other human being. Being nice today is the anti-Gospel of holiness. It looks on the outside as if we were very holy but it is a counterfeit of holiness.
