Liberal Rachel Maddow Fired Up Over Contraception Culture War In USA

Here’s a good education on the contraception-abortion battle taking place in the USA from a liberal point of view. It’s an unusual piece of mainstream journalism on the subject given the depth and detail of the coverage, and the manner in which the religious-political themes are interwoven. I imagine any Liberal who watches this video will be cheering on Rachel Maddow gleefully, woefully ignorant of the underlying truths being trampled.

The video below was uploaded to YouTube by American Life League (ALL), which I rate to be the top pro-life activist organization in America today. ALL introduces this as their Video of the Week, explaining:

On the November 26 edition of MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show, Maddow attacks ALL’s The Pill Kills project for the third year in a row, highlighting the extent of the campaign’s importance in widespread opposition to the contraceptive mandate in Obamacare.

In the description of the video on YouTube, the following information is given:

On the November 26 edition of the Rachel Maddow Show, Maddow once more throws ALL's 'The Pill Kills' project into a debate about Republican ideology.

The Pill Kills is not a conservative or Republican argument. It's a education project meant to inform families with regard to the dangers of hormonal contraception.

The video provides insight as to how abortion advocates plan to bring the fight to the public and in the courts to support their allegations that we are the ones who do not believe in science and do not have a right to religious freedom—and that, in fact, those in opposition to the contraception mandate can't even agree on what we believe.

ALL is one of the few organizations that emphasize the abortion-contraception link in their fight to save unborn children from abortion. They are also faithful to Catholic teaching but, to my knowledge, do not kowtow to the Bishops in order to maintain their activities and funding.
