Our new Liberal leader vows to reject a political attack strategy. On the surface this appears to be commendable but I think a definition of “political attack” is in order. What about if it means exposing the truth about the opposing candidate’s position or views. Shouldn’t that be a good “political attack”?

However, Justin Trudeau proves himself to be a true liberal when it comes to grievance based violence. “Terrifying” says @FaithGoldy.

On his first full day as the new leader of the Liberal Party, Justin Trudeau sat down with the CBC’s chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge to talk about the ambitions he holds for himself and the country.

Already the target of the Harper government regarding his judgment and experience, Trudeau acknowledges that negative attack ads work.

“Mr. Harper has a majority government today because of the politics of negativity and division,” he says, but points to the cynicism about politics it breeds.

“Once Canadians no longer believe that there is any good in politics, they no longer feel we can work together to solve the challenges we’re facing, and that is my fundamental motivation, how do we work together as a country to solve the big challenges we’re facing.

I understand her concern. It seems as though Trudeau has the notion that we really need to try to understand our enemies and try some new approach in order to get along. Our enemies have grievances, they’ve been marginalized, mistreated perhaps, etc. etc. This is a typical liberal worldview. And it’s dangerous.

Apparently, his sister lost her leg in the terror attack and his mother sustained brain injuries.

In 2010, there were at least 1375 deaths worldwide due to terror incidents like this. For many people in different parts of the world, the Boston carnage is a horror they have experienced many times. However, the peace and tranquility of Western societies has been broken and the Boston terror may foreshadow more violence coming our way.

NL Runner Describes Scene Of Chaos After Boston Marathon Explosions

Two explosions at the finish line of the famed Boston Marathon killed three people and injured dozens more Monday. At least 11 runners from Newfoundland and Labrador were taking part in the marathon. Muslims Slaughter 50 Christians on Easter Sunday

This is so shocking. While we here in the West enjoy our peace and tranquility on Easter Sunday, our fellow Christians in other lands, especially Muslim lands, are being butchered. Truly it makes me want to march over to the local Muslim community and demand an answer to the question: "Why are your people killing my people?"

It's Easter so Christians must fear jihad. 50 are dead in Nigeria. When these news stories are written by Muslims the reportage is sanitized and compromised. In this article, the slaughter and ongoing genocide of Christians by Muslims is described as "unrest between Christians and Muslims." Jihad aided and abetted by stealth jihad.

Nigeria Turning into Killing Field of Dead Christians

And so I ask my local NL Muslim neighbours “Why are your people killing my people?

I fear they will have no answer really, other than perhaps to deny they had anything to do with such violence and then to accuse me of Islamophobia.

So what accountability is there, what recourse to justice is there, in Islam, the wonderful “religion of peace” for those who are clearly the victims of that ideology, or for those loved ones left behind?

The attack yesterday saw two suicide bombers ram their car into the bus station in Kano, Nigeria’s second largest city, setting off a huge explosion that hit five buses, police spokesman Magaji Majia told AFP.

A rescue official said late today that the attack left 41 people dead, while Majia said 65 were injured.
