fraudulent title for this dangerous measure could not be imagined.The proposed law is, in truth, a grave
assault upon both religious liberty and marriage.All people of goodwill, and especially

The pending bill
would, for the first time in our state's history, redefine marriage to legally
recognize same-sex "marriages."But
neither two men nor two women- nor, for that matter, three or more people-can
possibly form a marriage. Our law would be lying if it said that they could.

marriage as the exclusive and lasting relationshipof a man and a woman, committedto a life which is fulfilled by having
children, is given to us in human nature, and thus by nature's God.Notwithstanding the vanity of human wishes,
every society in human history-including every society untouched by Jewish or

relationships and happiness: marriage is the union of man and woman.
The mainstream media will get around to covering abortion
this month as the nation marks 40 years of legalized abortion for any reason
throughout pregnancy via Roe v Wade. Time magazine has released its issue,
which comes to a shocking
conclusion.
As the prolife movement contemplates four decades of legalized abortion in the United States and asks itself what really needs doing to halt this hideous scandal, prolifers should consider adding a new word to their vocabulary: ambivalence. According to the dictionary, ambivalence is the state of having mutually conflicting emotions or thoughts about something. And where abortion is concerned, that obviously is how things stand with a substantial number of Americans. They don't like abortion, but they want it to be legally available.

Nations that willfully refuse to face reality die. Yet in
the past week the only thing that most members of Congress faced was the fiscal
cliff they were clinging to by their grubby fingernails.
The trouble with clinging to the fiscal cliff is that all
you see is the cliff, inches in front of your nose. You don’t see the wider
reality that faces America and the West in 2013: the reality of impending
national bankruptcy and third-world status.
Not that I hold any reasonable expectation that any of the
current crop of US politicians will heed such warnings, least of all President
Barack Obama. They have so compromised themselves over the years.
