Coptic Christian Pope Blasts Egypt’s Islamist President
The Jihad continues on Egyptian Christians. But few will
hear much about it, thanks to the enemedia.
The leader of Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church on Tuesday blasted the
country’s Islamist president over his handling of the recent deadly sectarian
violence, including an attack on the main cathedral in Cairo.
The remarks by Pope Tawadros II underscore rising Muslim-Christian
tensions in Egypt — and they show a level of boldness, especially considering
the abuses that many Christians have faced in the region. They were Tawadros’
first direct criticism of President Mohammed Morsi since he was enthroned in
November as the spiritual leader of Egypt’s Orthodox Christians.

Muslims Slaughter 50 Christians on Easter Sunday
It's Easter so Christians must fear jihad. 50 are dead in Nigeria. When these news stories are written by Muslims the reportage is sanitized and compromised. In this article, the slaughter and ongoing genocide of Christians by Muslims is described as "unrest between Christians and Muslims." Jihad aided and abetted by stealth jihad.

Drunk Muslim Upholding the Honour of the Prophet
In this op-ed published by Pakistan Today, Hashim bin
Rashid, a Muslim, looks at the hypocrisy of the Muslim attack, where a drunken
Muslim’s accusations of blasphemy against a Christian man was enough to
legitimize the mob’s vengeance against an entire Christian community.
The irony in the
ground reality was lost on most Muslim Pakistanis – but certainly not on the
city’s 500,000 strong Christian community. Protests began the same day and
lasted till Tuesday. But more reason for outrage should have been found. The
same police force that stood by and watched 3,000 people loot and plunder
Joseph Colony, fired over 500 tear gas canisters on Youhanabad, the largest
Christian settlement in the country, with over 4,000 households. Over a hundred
Christians were arrested at a point when no one had been arrested for the
Joseph Colony mob attack. Policemen in riot gear told a reporter in this
newspaper: “These are choorhas.”

Nigeria Turning into Killing Field of Dead Christians
And so I ask my local NL Muslim neighbours “Why are your people
killing my people?
I fear they will have no answer really, other than perhaps to deny they had anything to do with such violence and then to accuse me of Islamophobia.
So what accountability is there, what recourse to justice is there, in Islam, the wonderful “religion of peace” for those who are clearly the victims of that ideology, or for those loved ones left behind?

The attack yesterday saw two suicide bombers ram their car into the bus station in Kano, Nigeria’s second largest city, setting off a huge explosion that hit five buses, police spokesman Magaji Majia told AFP.
A rescue official said late today that the attack left 41 people dead, while Majia said 65 were injured.

Memorial University of Newfoundland Students Protest Muslim Violence
So why is this getting such little coverage locally? I
didn’t see any coverage in yesterday’s Telegram or on the CBC News website. I
did an online search but no story surfaced. I do see today a story about Muslim
burial grounds in Torbay but nothing else under the banner Muslim. Even in this
YouTube video there seems to be great reluctance to identify the perpetrators
of violence. Are they Muslims or not? If they were Christians do you think it
might have received mention?
Hindus have suffered a “relentless jihad” over centuries. It continues. Is this jihad coming our way? Silly question.
VOCM carried the story on
Wednesday with a picture of local students. The only reference to Muslim was
connecting the story to an Islamic leader who was sentenced to death earlier
this year.
The MUN students pictured in the stories are seeking support from Canada and the US in order that pressure might be put on the perpetrators in their home country of Bangladesh. I hope it works. Canada released a statement recently condemning the violence. Once again, the word “Muslim” is nowhere to be seen in the article.

Saint Eulogius Exposes Myth of Tolerant Islam
In what way exactly has Islam changed since the days of
Muhammed?
Let’s keep our eyes open.
In 859, the clergy and people of Toledo elected Eulogius
bishop; he was never installed in that see. His past made him objectionable to
the caliph, who monitored episcopal elections. The caliph’s officials knew not
only that Eulogius had earlier advised imprisoned Christians, but that he had
also hidden a young girl named Leocritia, who had converted to Christianity
from Islam. Like many Muslim girls who are abused today for having non-Muslim
friends, Leocritia’s parents beat her cruelly to compel her to return to the
Muslim religion. She sought the protection of Eulogius, who gave her sanctuary
among his friends and family. She was found out, however, and all those who had
helped her were brought before the qadi, or judge. When he appeared in court
Eulogius denounced Muhammad as a false prophet. He was told that he could
recant, save his life, and then resume his position as a leader among the
Christians. Eulogius refused; he chose to die for Christ and was soon after
beheaded.
